--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

   Completed Application
On your IU at Oxford application, you must submit academic data based on your current OneStart reports.
Failure to do so will invalidate your application.  The only exceptions to this policy would be very recent
changes in your major, minor, grades or credit hours that have not yet been updated in OneStart.

   Personal Essays

Please compose well-written essays to the following questions:

  1. How do you think the IU at Oxford program will benefit your educational growth?
  2. How will the IU at Oxford program benefit from your participation?

Your essay responses should show evidence of your interest in the host country; demonstrate skill in coping
with different living arrangements, academic environments, and social customs; and explain how you will
uniquely contribute to and benefit from the program.  Each essay should be well-written and limited to one-to-
   two pages.

Please give serious thought to these questions.  Keep in mind that because of the overlap between these
essay questions and the Hutton International Experience Program grant application, your efforts will not only
help you gain admittance into the IU at Oxford program, they can also help you earn a grant equivalent to up
to 25 percent of your travel expenses (if you choose to apply for an IEP grant).

   Faculty References
You must provide the names of two faculty references.  Please confirm these faculty references will agree to
speak to us on your behalf before listing them on your application.  They will likely be called during the review
   process.

   Unofficial Copy of IU Transcript
You can access a copy of your complete academic record through the following steps:

  • Go to OneStart and log in Select the Self-Service tab, under the academic services box select Unofficial Transcript

  • On the following page, select Click here to view My Unofficial Transcript

  • For Academic Institution, select your home campus; for Report Type select Unofficial/Cur Enrl/All Career and click Go

  • Print by either selecting the Print link in the top right-hand corner or by hitting
    Control + P

Signed Copy of the Agreement and Release Form
You will need to submit a copy of this form signed by you and, if required, by your parent.

If you have any questions about the application process, please contact Stephanie Hayes Richards at
   steprich@indiana.edu
